Used the Enthusiasts manual to plan the change. On looking at the car found it to be un-necessary to remove the plastic skirt underneath the car. The bottom hose can be accessed via the flap fitted in the skirt. Just be careful taking the hose of, wet arm.
The radiator can also be removed without removing the fan assembly. Take care lifting the radiator out. Its then easy once out of the car to access the fan retaining bolts. Be warned my lower bolts were heavily corroded (no heads), and needed to be replaced. Buy replacements before removal. You will also require replacement cir-clips for the mounting bushes. Sorry can?t supply the size, obtained replacements from an odd job bin at my car factors. Would be helpful for these items to be supplied.
Be warned obtain these items before starting. Besides this fitting was a doodle. Rating: 4 of 5 Stars! [4 of 5 Stars!]
