Simply does not fit my Mk 1 Eunos. I've had two independent audio fitters try to get it to fit with the Sony CDX-R3350 unit, which is standard size, but both have somewhat contemptuously disregarded Scimitar's comments that it fits by simply introducing the cubby-box to the remaining space - 'Don't care what they say - it doesn't fit and that's that.' Going to have to bodge it in. Disappointing.

Editors Note: As per previous observations, you MUST fit the cubby BEFORE you fit the radio, you then fit the radio into the remaining gap. When fitting a standard 1 din radio, the radio does NOT fit 'flush' to the surround (see the product picture to see what I mean). After you fit the cubby, you then fit the standard cage, as supplied with the radio, and slide the radio into the cage. Some car audio shops are not aware that on the MX-5 the European style radio is meant to sit 'proud' (as opposed to Japanese supplied, non standard units, that do fit 'flush') and try to fit it flush to the surround.
