Someone should buy these guys a pair of glasses, I ordered the black finish rear lights and suprise suprise oops wrong colour. I was a bit anoyed but was resigned to the fact that people do make mistakes, however due to company policy I have had to pay for their mistake and trump up another 160 quid so that they can send me the correct lights and then refund me when the wrong lights get back to them. That means money in their bank making intrest on their mistake....not impressed.
NO, this does not mean money in our bank! As soon as the incorrect item gets back to us we do a reversal on the credit card transaction and the payment is cancelled out. In all probability it will not even show on your credit card statement (depending on the issuer, they all have different procedures!).
We are very sorry that we made a mistake. We are also very sorry that we are unable to dispatch replacements without the originals being returned to us first or the replacements being paid for. You chose to pay for the replacements, you could have waited a couple of days for the wrong items to be collected and returned and not paid anything.
We always used to send replacements for faulty items or 'wrong picks' free of charge immediately, but unfortunately too many customers failed to return the faulty items which left us out of pocket. Its a case of the lazey (or dishonest) few spoiling it for the honest and careing majority. Its not a situation we like, but sadly thats the way it is.
