Seems fantastic value with 10% offer reduced and OEM quality, fixings and instructions. The rear view looks great and everything looks in balance - but just a bit more edgy and sporty. I did not fancy the strip down and removal of rear bumper - and relying on advice it could be done on a ramp - asked local Mazda dealer - they did it for a charge of a half hours labour. Brilliant.

I received this product yesterday. As not very confident with my DIY skills I went to Mazda this morning to ask about fitting. £60 plus VAT. I thought this quite reasonable but they couldn't do it for another two weeks. Being impatient and after reading past reviews I thought Id have a wee look myself. Half 12 I went out and jacked the car up and as per earlier reviews the markings were right there. Couple of axle stands later, and by 15;00hrs the back of the car looks 100% better. You wont regret buying this product, I certainly dont. As I was tidying things into the garage the postman came and commented on it, saying it finished off the car nicely. 5 minutes on and already someone noticed.

Bought this in the recent 10% off promotion and fitted today, as a genuine Mazda accessory as you would expect it fits perfectly and looks great. As one other reviewer mentioned you can fit this without removing the rear bumper, I raised the back of the car on some axle stands and with a good light and a cloth to clean the inside of the bumper you can find the markings to show where to drill the holes. To save trying to drill from behind the bumper I used a sharp self tapping screw to screw in far enough that it marked the front of the panel so I could easily drill holes from the other side. Hope the tips help someone, it's worth the effort.

As usual with MX5parts excellent service. Contrary to what anyone says you DO NOT need to remove the rear bumper to fit this diffuser ( mine is a 2010 3.5). If you get a torch and a damp cloth and wipe the inside of the bumper you will see small circles with a cross marked out where you need to drill holes. Take a sharp object, bradawl or similar and push into the centre of the cross this will make a mark on the outside which is where you drill. From start to finish 2 hours- put it on ramps, clean inside bumper, locate embossed marks and use brad to transfer location to outside, double check marks line up with pre-fitted bolts on diffuser if happy drill holes, i used a 1mm smaller drill than Mazda suggested, fit diffuser, tighten nuts and stand back and admire.

Awesome bit of kit. Finishes off the back of the car really well. From start to finish it took just under 2 hours to fit. You must remove rear bumper, very simple, clear instructions which are include.Make sure you CLEAN the INSIDE of the OE bumper and look very carefully at the black part of the bumper and you will see where you need to drill the holes, they are all marked with a circle with a cross in it… I've got Venture Edition 2012 MK3.5 and there are two Torx 30 bolts behind the number plate… don't forget to remove them. Great service from MX5 Parts…Looking at ordering the back box from you soon.

Factory kit, and as such top quality and just as good as the one on the car I'd damage. All the fixings are included, but I did have to make a new hole at each side for the end fixing. For some reason the end fixings can be in slighting differing locations on each diffuser. Not a problem but worth a note.

Delivery Information - MX5 Parts

We understand that its really important for you to receive your goods in a timely fashion and for a competitive price. To ensure that we can deliver this we have developed a strategic partnership with both the Royal Mail and our courier partner, Think Worldwide.

At the present time, we only offer one delivery option ‘our carrier’. We will dispatch your goods with the most suitable carrier, for main land UK deliveries this is normally Royal Mail 1st class for packages weighing under 1.5kg and Think Worldwide for those that are over.

Our delivery charges are based on the weight of the consignment and the destination address. For UK mainland deliveries they start at £1.97 for a package weighing under 300g and rise to a MAXIMUM of £9.95 for a package weighing 1.5kg or over (EXCEPT very large bulky items that have an additional shipping surcharge added). The exact delivery cost will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimated at 1-3 working days by Royal Mail, and 1-2 working days by Think Worldwide for mainland UK addresses. If you order before 3pm, Monday to Friday, we will dispatch the same day. If you order after 3pm, we will try to dispatch the same day, but if we cant it will be the next working day. Items ordered after 3pm Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched Monday. Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week. Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day. MX5parts is constantly updated to keep pace with changes in our stock but demand is high and we occasionally run out of popular items. If we have run out of stock and can’t dispatch your order the next working day, we’ll email or phone you with a revised dispatch date. You can then either accept the revised dispatch date or cancel the order, as you wish. Please note, shipping times are an estimate, and can not be guaranteed. Please note that during special offer periods, dispatch of your order may be delayed slightly due to high a volume of orders.

A signature is required for ALL orders delivered by Think Worldwide. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 6pm on a working day. Please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for, like your place of work, a neighbour, or perhaps your grans. We can (but we don’t like to) ask the courier to leave your parcel without a signature. If we do this, it will be YOUR responsibility if the parcel is lost or damaged. If you want it left, you need to give us your express instructions in the ‘additional information’ box at the end of the checkout process. It would be helpful if you could also indicate exactly where the package should be left.

If you need to change your delivery address, for any packages that have been dispatched with Think Worldwide, there will be an additional charge of £9.95 if the package has already been dispatched.

Please remember, even with Royal Mail deliveries, that any items which are too large to fit through your letter box will need someone to be available to receive the delivery. If the item cannot be delivered, you will be carded and given the option of either a re-delivery or you can collect your parcel from your local post office depot.

Orders sent to countries outside the UK will be sent VAT free, however please note that on all international shipments, the recipient is responsible for any local VAT, import duty and other clearance fees that may be charged.
