When first opening the box ( and it is a big box) I noticed how well it was packed, then when I first looked I thought some of the welds were not as good as they could have been ( me being fussy as, I have spent my life welding) then thought who is going to see it under the car. Once that was out of the way I stuck the car on stands and removed the old pipe from the original cat backwards it was then a ten minute job of fitting the new one which lined up perfectly and the tailpipe sat just right in the bumper exhaust cut out ( the tailpipe is slightly bigger than the standard pipe that came off but only by 10 mm or so, therefore it did not look boy racerish) next the road test on starting up it is a slight bit more throaty than the original and under normal driving it sounds just right with a sporty tone, if the car is driven very enthusiastic it then borders on being loud ( but normal driving and cruising it sounds in my opinion just how a sports car should sound) as said earlier in my review I fitted it from the original cat back and it was just how I wanted the sound to be but would imaging if it was used with a de-cat it could be loud, irritating or even offensive.
I picked my pipe up from mx5 parts as I was close by ( which was straight forward) but I have just had some other parts delivered to me this afternoon which were only ordered yesterday afternoon so I am happy with the service from mx parts as well.
