Quality Counts. This kit is quality.

I've heard people comparing this & the R-Speed Monsterflow by saying the K&N is more of a 'V-Tech' type sound than the Monsterflow's growl..
Don't believe them.. it's nothing like a V-Tech sound. It is however, similar to the lovely Impreza 'Boxer' engine noise. The rolling "Brlrlrlrlrrlrlrlrl" from about 2.5k r/pm
all the way through to redline is intoxicating.

Hissing and sucking at idle, it makes you grin like a big kid when you pull away at lights, FINALLY having the 'sportscar' noise that Mazda seemed to engineer out of the MK2. Heads WILL turn as you open the throttle, yet the noise dissapates seemlessly as you ease off on the gas.

Throttle response has definately improved, as has the overall drivability of the car.
Overtaking is that little bit easier, it pulls better from low revs, and for under £150 if you shop around, it's certainly a recommened purchase.
