Genuine Mazda replacement seat belt guide. Fits to the top edge of the seat and as the name suggests, guides the seatbelt! These are handed, so please select which side you require from the drop down box. Mazda have recently released a service bulletin regarding these, and due to complaints about the seatbelts getting stuck in the guide, they have redesigned this part. The ones we supply are the new version which is why they may look different to the ones currently fitted to your car.

These are just the thing you need to solve the NC problem with non-retracting seat belts - an MOT failure. Very easy to fit but remember to save the original screw and remove and fit the metal plate from the underside old units as no fitting instructions are included. Lastly I recommend cleaning the seat belts with a silicone spray - then the belts retract perfectly! Ordered on a Monday and came Wednesday morning. 10 mins to fit.

These fit a 2010 NC 2.0 no problem, just remove the and refit the metal supports from the old guides into the new ones. Seat belts now retracting properly. Easy fix, 1 screw each side, 5 min job.

I wish to clarify something for MK3.5 owners. These WILL fit your car. However, the product info isnÆt necessarily wrong in stating that they wonÆt. When you swap the metal plate into the new guide, they will foul a small and completely inconsequential plastic tab. This tab will simply be bent out of the way by the installation process, or can be easily shaved off with a craft knife. The only other difference is the front edge of the revised guideÆs base is about 10mm longer, but it follows the same contour so still sits flush. IÆd imagine if your seat is slightly misshapen from age/use you may end up with a tiny gap where the side of the seat falls away more steeply, but thatÆs it. This is a very worthwhile upgrade that MK3.5 owners should not miss out on so I hope this helps!

This might be obvious... but no one has mentioned it so far in the reviews. When you take the old guide off the metal support bracket is still inside the guide - it has to be transferred to the new guide.

These guides fit my 2009 Mk 3.5 2.0 Sport tech facelift model. I was a little unsure they would with the 2005_2008 description but it’s a straight swap with one screw. After cleaning the belts in a bucket of washing detergent for an hour or so, drying completely and then fitting these new guides they now retract a lot better than before so worth doing.

About to have NCT (equiv to UK MOT) carried out on my 09 3.5 NC and issue of non retraction of both seatbelts an issue.New guide parts solved the problem instantly !Service and shipping to Ireland amazing in just two days.No more catching the buckle in the door jambs.Thanks to all in MX5 PARTS who gave advice.

Fitted in 5 minutes and they do the job better than the originals. The only minor gripe I have is the chrome cover trims I removed from the originals have a slightly different curvature and don't fully seat in the middle by about 5mm. Even so, they still fit securely and it's hardly noticeable.

I fitted one to my 2005 NC drivers seat and it's fixed the issue.The belt is still a little slow to retract, but it retracts, which it didn't do before.It's held in place with one phillips screw, and takes about 1 miniute to change.Now waiting for MX5 parts to get the passenger side in stock, so I can the other side.

Delivery Information - MX5 Parts

We understand that its really important for you to receive your goods in a timely fashion and for a competitive price. To ensure that we can deliver this we have developed a strategic partnership with both the Royal Mail and our courier partner, Think Worldwide.

At the present time, we only offer one delivery option ‘our carrier’. We will dispatch your goods with the most suitable carrier, for main land UK deliveries this is normally Royal Mail 1st class for packages weighing under 1.5kg and Think Worldwide for those that are over.

Our delivery charges are based on the weight of the consignment and the destination address. For UK mainland deliveries they start at £1.97 for a package weighing under 300g and rise to a MAXIMUM of £9.95 for a package weighing 1.5kg or over (EXCEPT very large bulky items that have an additional shipping surcharge added). The exact delivery cost will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimated at 1-3 working days by Royal Mail, and 1-2 working days by Think Worldwide for mainland UK addresses. If you order before 3pm, Monday to Friday, we will dispatch the same day. If you order after 3pm, we will try to dispatch the same day, but if we cant it will be the next working day. Items ordered after 3pm Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched Monday. Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week. Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day. MX5parts is constantly updated to keep pace with changes in our stock but demand is high and we occasionally run out of popular items. If we have run out of stock and can’t dispatch your order the next working day, we’ll email or phone you with a revised dispatch date. You can then either accept the revised dispatch date or cancel the order, as you wish. Please note, shipping times are an estimate, and can not be guaranteed. Please note that during special offer periods, dispatch of your order may be delayed slightly due to high a volume of orders.

A signature is required for ALL orders delivered by Think Worldwide. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 6pm on a working day. Please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for, like your place of work, a neighbour, or perhaps your grans. We can (but we don’t like to) ask the courier to leave your parcel without a signature. If we do this, it will be YOUR responsibility if the parcel is lost or damaged. If you want it left, you need to give us your express instructions in the ‘additional information’ box at the end of the checkout process. It would be helpful if you could also indicate exactly where the package should be left.

If you need to change your delivery address, for any packages that have been dispatched with Think Worldwide, there will be an additional charge of £9.95 if the package has already been dispatched.

Please remember, even with Royal Mail deliveries, that any items which are too large to fit through your letter box will need someone to be available to receive the delivery. If the item cannot be delivered, you will be carded and given the option of either a re-delivery or you can collect your parcel from your local post office depot.

Orders sent to countries outside the UK will be sent VAT free, however please note that on all international shipments, the recipient is responsible for any local VAT, import duty and other clearance fees that may be charged.
