Dash Mount, Universal, MX5 Mk3

Made specifically for the Mk3, this ingenious dash mount simply clips to the interior trim to provide a firm base to attach a phone/ipod/sat nav holder. They are designed to allow the use of in car mountings without the need for drilling or damaging the interior of the vehicle.

Made from tough ABS plastic, and complete with full fitting instructions, they require no special tools to fit, and give a safe, secure, and convienent place to fix your in-car mount to.

Poor fit. Was far to tight and ended up bending the facia. Took it off and one of the facia mounting points had bent under the pressure.

This one doesn't fit my MK3 2011 model. Seems like there is a difference between the interior of the NC and says on the package that it fits the year model 06-08, and it should also have been on the website..... Therefore, it only gets 1 star , but that is because the supplier has not informed about it on the website

I found this to be very useful, however I modded it a little. I took out the part it clips to and put three small bolts on to secure it, then buffed off the internal leading edge.After this it fitted perfectly and provides a great attachment point for phone or satnav.

This is the second Brodit part I purchase (the first was not here) and it's the second time I'm dissepointed. On this part it's the "hook" that is to weak, so when you "snap" the bracket over the edge on the consol the "hook" gets straightend and the bracket is useless. Wery disepointing.

The mount appears to be well made and mine stays in place firmly without the use of the sticky pads (used for iPhone 4S). However, I'm very disappointed by the large gap between the mount itself and the plastic car panel to which it is attached. I had expected the mount to closely follow the contour of the car panel but this is not the case and thus the mount looks very much like a badly fitting add-on.

Easily fiited and holds my ipod touch effectively using a griffin case attached to the mount. Good product at a reasonable price.Blends with the car interior and all with the mx5 parts excellent service!

Disappointed - just purchased this Brodit mount, together with an attachment to hold a Snooper sat nav and found that due to the curve of the dashboard it will not stay secured and pops out. I could possibly use a self tapping screw to hold it but not keen - has anybody else had this problem ?

I purchased this Brodit mount from another supplier (since they had the matching iPhone mount in stock as well).It looks discrete in the car and provides a good base for mounting pretty much anything you want, since the flat plate is drill-able plastic. The Brodit iPhone cradle I have attached to the plate is fantastic.However, the small clip (at the narrow end of the bracket) failed when I removed/re-attached the bracket in order to adjust the cradle. Since then I've repaired the bracket clip with a metal part, and it is rock solid.The bracket comes with sticky pads, which wasn't mentioned in the description from the other supplier (or in MX5Parts' product info).I didn't use the sticky pads as I didn't wish to risk damaging the car's plastics. If I were to use them, I believe the clip may not have failed. It certainly won't survive being removed and re-fitted (for whatever reason) whether you use the pads or not.As such, I'd say this is a great product providing you're happy to stick fairly heavy-duty double-sided tape to your car's dash.I'd suggest that MX5Parts make it clear that adhesive must be used for a secure fit.

We understand that its really important for you to receive your goods in a timely fashion and for a competitive price. To ensure that we can deliver this we have developed a strategic partnership with both the Royal Mail and our courier partner, Think Worldwide.

At the present time, we only offer one delivery option ‘our carrier’. We will dispatch your goods with the most suitable carrier, for main land UK deliveries this is normally Royal Mail 1st class for packages weighing under 2kg and Think Worldwide for those that are over.

Our delivery charges are based on the weight of the consignment and the destination address. For UK mainland deliveries they start at £2.95 for a package weighing under 200g and rise to a MAXIMUM of £9.95 for a package weighing 2kg or over (EXCEPT very large bulky items that have an additional shipping surcharge added). The exact delivery cost will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimated at 1-3 working days by Royal Mail, and 1-2 working days by Think Worldwide for mainland UK addresses. If you order before 3pm, Monday to Friday, we will dispatch the same day. If you order after 3pm, we will try to dispatch the same day, but if we cant it will be the next working day. Items ordered after 3pm Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched Monday. Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week. Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day. MX5parts is constantly updated to keep pace with changes in our stock but demand is high and we occasionally run out of popular items. If we have run out of stock and can’t dispatch your order the next working day, we’ll email or phone you with a revised dispatch date. You can then either accept the revised dispatch date or cancel the order, as you wish. Please note, shipping times are an estimate, and can not be guaranteed. Please note that during special offer periods, dispatch of your order may be delayed slightly due to high a volume of orders.

A signature is required for ALL orders delivered by Think Worldwide. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 6pm on a working day. Please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for, like your place of work, a neighbour, or perhaps your grans. We can (but we don’t like to) ask the courier to leave your parcel without a signature. If we do this, it will be YOUR responsibility if the parcel is lost or damaged. If you want it left, you need to give us your express instructions in the ‘additional information’ box at the end of the checkout process. It would be helpful if you could also indicate exactly where the package should be left.

If you need to change your delivery address, for any packages that have been dispatched with Think Worldwide, there will be an additional charge of £9.95 if the package has already been dispatched.

Please remember, even with Royal Mail deliveries, that any items which are too large to fit through your letter box will need someone to be available to receive the delivery. If the item cannot be delivered, you will be carded and given the option of either a re-delivery or you can collect your parcel from your local post office depot.

Orders sent to countries outside the UK will be sent VAT free, however please note that on all international shipments, the recipient is responsible for any local VAT, import duty and other clearance fees that may be charged.
